The Texas Radio Hall of Fame’s 2026 Class will be inducted on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at the Texas Broadcast Museum in Kilgore, TX. The “City of Stars” will once again roll out the red carpet for friends and fans of Texas Radio to ensure and enjoyable and affordable weekend for all. If you’ve never experienced the Texas Broadcast Museum - a Smithsonian-caliber museum that hosts our annual event - you’re in for a real treat!
- Seating at the TRHOF event will be theatre-style for 200 guests. Our individual inductees will be seated together in a special section, adjacent to, and in clear view of, the auditorium guests. All “plus ones” and other guests will be seated in the auditorium—a few short steps away from our inductees.
- Each 2026 Inductee will receive two (2) complimentary tickets to the event for use by the inductee and one guest. Two copies of the printed program will also be provided. Once our inductees have been announced, these items will be reserved for you, once you let us know you’re coming and to whom you wish to “award” your “extra” ticket.
- Additional tickets may be purchased here for $30 each (plus a processing fee) while they last.
- No meal OR alcoholic beverages will be served during the Induction ceremony, and the room setup does not include tables. Complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available during the presentation. PLEASE advise your guests to plan dining options before or after the TRHOF events on November 7.
- Regarding pre-show dining, guests registered at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites may enjoy the free breakfast offering. As a courtesy to our guests, Chili’s restaurant at 1212 US-259 (adjacent to the Comfort Inn and a short drive from our host hotel) has agreed to open at 10:30 AM for dining (with a full bar available). Any food or beverages ordered by patrons will be their responsibility.
- Ads or special salutes to our inductees may be included in our program book. The rate is $450 for a full page or $300 for a half page with the inside front and inside back covers available at a slightly higher price. Reasonable assistance with artwork and layout will be extended at no charge. Interested parties may contact Doug Harris at 713.569.7716 or Doug@GetMeDougHarris.com.
- Attire for the event would best be described as “business casual.” Historically, jackets and neckties for men have been a rarity but would certainly not make the inductee appear overdressed. “Dress for photos” is probably the best advice we can give. You’ll be on stage and in the spotlight for most of the afternoon.
Induction Weekend Tickets
For those seeking tickets to the Induction event on Saturday, November 7, 2026, we are pleased to share the following information:
Using the link below, you may purchase up to ten (10), individual, general admission tickets at $30 each for seating in the main auditorium (a few short steps away from the Inductee seating area). To ensure easy access to the stage with minimal disruption to the ceremony, all Inductees will be seated in the same section, stage right.
You are encouraged to print out the receipt from this purchase but be advised that we will be working from a master guest list as a backup when people check-in at the Museum entrance.
If you require more than ten (10) seats, please contact us directly with your request at 713.569.7716 or doug@getmedougharris.com.
These tickets also allow access to the Friday evening gathering and admission to the Reception that immediately follows our ceremony.
If you or any of your guests require ADA or special assistance, please contact us in advance of the event so that we can make the necessary arrangements. The facility has a special entrance to facilitate access by wheelchair and has ADA compliant restrooms.
There is no charge for parking in the Museum lot or on the adjacent streets. There is no covered parking.
The content and presentation of our event is indeed family-friendly but young children may find the length of the event (3-5 hours, depending on your arrival time) a bit daunting. As a reminder, our event takes place in a Museum, and some exhibits are fragile and not-particularly kid-friendly.
